We've unpacked the Britain shipment and put these beautiful models in one of our display cabinets, ready for delectation.
The Napoleonics page has been changed to make it a portal to new pages specifically for the Wm. Britain products and for the remaining Historex models and kits we have in stock. Please bear with us as I complete the construction of these pages and take pictures of those models that were not on the manufacturer's disk.

We received our first shipment of Wm. Britain's finely finished model soldiers this afternoon. I haven't got a chance yet to consstruct a web page to display what we have on the shelves. But check this location for a link in the next week or so. We have also received our long awaited Lenz shipment and have most everything in stock. See the updated Lenz page.

Perhaps a few other reduced prices spread elsewhere on the site. I can't remember specifics at the moment.
Anyone calling on or before January 2 may get a discounted price on on the shelf items - or anything else - , if the spirit moves and if I like your voice.

I am happy to advise that TLA is able to return to most of its past commercial activity, with the exception of most custom modelling projects.
To try to make up for the interruption of service, I will offer a 20% reduction on the list price of all in-store stock, with the exception of Lenz items and TLA's own brass, until July 15. (For previous customers and friends of TLA, 25% for cash, in-shop pick up.)

I am hopeful that TLA may be in a position to recommence most previous activities, but regret I am just not able to offer any further word on that in the near term.
Given the possibility that may not prove feasible, in the interim, I would be happy to extend to past customers a 20% discount on all in-stock items, with the exception of Lenz DCC and most of TLA's own Brass stock.
A few of the Baines' brass items remain and I have a good stock of items, including Atlas code 83 and Code 100 NS track, that are not listed on the website.
So if you are seeking something not listed, please feel free to call or email and ask.
I may also have some items that were set aside for the SBLK II, which may not now be used.

I regret to advise that, due to an unforseen change in personal circumstances, TLA must suspend indefinitely all of its commercial activities, with the exception of Lenz support and certain Lenz sales, with immediate effect.
We may be in a position to offer the entire stock of the business at significant discount within a few months, as well as some personal collection items.
A notice to that effect with further information will appear here if that possibility eventuates.
I would like to thank all of our customers, clients and suppliers for their very much valued support and custom in our 18 years of business.

November 25, 2008: Rapido has announced a limited run of the CPR "Canadian" stainless steel set plus FP9A and B units with sound. See our On the Shelf RTR page for details. This offering will likely be fully reserved very quickly.

October 12, 2008: Intermountain HO scale CNR FP9 A & B units arrived and added to the On the Shelf RTR page. The waiting list for the Lenz V3.6 upgrade is now down to only three systems, which means almost immediate upgrades when we get in the next shipment of parts. Note that we have always tried to keep our Lenz prices at, or very near, the US$ MSRP. With the recent strength of the Cdn $, we are now able to offer Sherline lathes, mills and accessories at prices within 1 or 2% of their US$ MSRP.
We have always tried to price reasonably competitvely, without deep discounting. As long as the Cdn$ remains at or near parity, all new stock from U.S. suppliers will reflect the US$ price.
