Napoleonics
Model Soldiers for Collectors and Game Players
Leipzig, 1813 - The Battle of Nations
Napoleon vs. Prussia, Russia, Austria and Sweden
This is a set of 98 cast metal soldiers representing the French, Prussian, Russian, Swedish and Austrian units that participated in the Battle of Leipzig during La Grande Armee's long retreat from Napoleon's foray into Russia.
This set was a labour of love and is absolutely unique.
Few individual soldiers in the 20-30 mm. size range are ever painted to this quality, with this care and attention, let alone a complete set this large. Each soldier has been meticulously hand painted in appropriate colours, with the detail level down to the point where it differentiates between the different companies in each army by different shoulder bands, straps and hardware colours.

The individual pieces that made up this set are long out of production. No other sets have been assembled and painted and no more are likely ever to be in the future.
